If we were to starve the elephant by trying to do anything to suppress our thoughts and emotions, it won’t be very happy. It may let us know about its displeasure by becoming even louder by creating even more anxiety, stress, depression, anger, worry, or grief or by creating diseases due to the mind-body connection.
